Ceremony at 3 pm at Lacombe Memorial Centre - Open to the public 

         Banquet for Graduates and Invited Guests at 6 pm -  Tickets can be purchased online.  Please go the the Alix-MAC Website.  Click on "Acorn Online Payments". Under "Other Payments"  Click on "Pay Now".  Set up an account.  Grad parents can use their child's parent portal information to set up their account.  Other family members may use "Grad17" as the student name and Password of "Alix".

Banquet Tickets-

                                              Cost - $ 29.00 per ticket ( Age: 11-Adult )rad17 as the student name and Alix as their password.  

                                               4yrs-10yrs- $14.00

           3&Under- No Charge

  • Tickets on sale starting the last week of August and are only available until September 14th, 2017!* Each Graduate will be given One free Banquet Ticket only if they fundraised and donated items for the gift basket raffles.

  • Only payable on the Parent Portal through online debit/credit card. No cash or cheques please!  Go to the Acorn Online Payments on the website.  Under "Other Payments" select Pay Now.  Set up an account.  

  •  no later than September 14th, 2017
  • No refunds on pre paid tickets

Set up for Ceremony & Procedures

Grads-

Time to arrive at the Memorial Centre- 2:45 p.m. inside the North Main Entrance Doors- towards the stairs. At that time, Graduates will be lined up with their escorts in the order they will be sitting on stage.

Reserved Tables are only available for Grads, Dignitaries and any Family with Guests who have purchased Banquet tickets. Please arrive early to see where you will be sitting.

* If special seating arrangements need to be made, please see Mrs. Shapka before September 14th. There are NO high chairs or booster seats available, please supply your own if bringing small children.

All other invited Guests NOT attending the Banquet will be seated at the back of the hall in rows of chairs. (These seats are on a first come basis.)

*Parents will be called up at the end of the Ceremony to escort their child off the stage and out the North Side Entrance of Banquet Room. (It will be the entrance with the White Arch Way in front of it).

Banquet Procedures

Time and Place -6:00 p.m. at the Lacombe Memorial Centre- 5214 -50 Avenue Lacombe, AB

Graduates will sit with their families

Reserved tables for families- look for your families name on the place cards at each table.

A diagram of the Banquet table arrangements will be available before the Ceremony- See Mrs. Shapka for viewing it.

Graduation Requirements

Grad Requirements- Gr. 12’s will not be able to participate in the Graduation Ceremonies, if they have not completed the necessary requirements-ex. Certificate of Achievement or High School Diploma.

All unpaid school fees must be paid in full, in order to participate in the Ceremony and Banquet.

Diploma marks will be available by July 20, 2017

Alberta Education no longer mails diploma results to students.  They now have a secure self-service website.  Students can log into their myPass account to review their marks and credits.

Parents and legal guardians may be granted access to a student's myPass account by going to myPass.alberta.ca - set up an Education Account.  You will need the student's Alberta Student Number and date of birth.  A physical letter will be mailed to the student with a four-digit PIN to access their account.  

Other

Cap and Gowns photos have all be distributed to the Gr. 12 class. Ordering of photos is totally done by individual families at your convenience. Please see ordering instructions provided with your proofs.
