Dear Alix-MAC School Families:

Welcome to an exciting new school year at Alix-MAC! We can’t wait to open our doors, hear the buzz of learning, and see our hallways filled with energy, curiosity, and Mustang pride. Whether you’re a returning family or new to our school, you are an important part of our community, and together we’re going to make this year one to remember—full of growth, new friendships, and great achievements!

We wanted to share some information with our families for the 2025-2026 school year: 

• Student school supply drop-off: August 29, 2025 @ 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
• First day of school is Tuesday, September 2, 2025.
• Kindergarten staggered entry will occur on September 2 (Last names A-N) and September 4 (Last names M-Z).
• Elementary (K to Grade 6):
• School doors open at 8:20 a.m. and classes begin at 8:28 a.m. The school day ends at 3:00 p.m.
• Afternoon recess is at 1:36 p.m.
• Junior/Senior High School (Grades 7-12)
• School doors open at 8:00 a.m. Classes begin at 8:30 a.m. with dismissal at 3:00 p.m.
• Junior/Senior High School students are able to go off campus during lunch at 11:45 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
• Timetables/schedules will be available to students the first day of school (Tuesday, September 2, 2025).
• School supply lists can be found at https://alix.wolfcreek.ab.ca/parents/supply-lists.
• Welcome BBQ and Meet the Staff: September 18, 2025 (Details to follow)
